Facade shutters
Facade blinds are a modern and functional solution that are used on the outside of buildings to control the amount of light entering the interior and to provide protection against excessive heat build-up.
Facade blinds provide ideal protection from the sun, while allowing you to regulate the amount of light entering the interior. In our offer you will find a wide range of blinds, which not only improve thermal comfort in the building, but also give it an elegant, modern look.
Design variants for facade blinds
The Slim variant guarantees a smaller package, so that a lower cassette height can be achieved. It is available as standard in blinds made in the C80 system.
The Duo variant is characterised by different degrees of inclination of the upper and lower part of the blind. This variant cannot be fully opened, however, it is possible:
- full closure of all fins
- open top, shaded bottom
- shaded top, open bottom
It is available as an optional extra on the C80 system.
Mounting variants for external blinds
Facade blinds for wall mounting
These blinds allow the covers to be attached directly to the external wall of the building. This method of installation ensures that the louvres are firmly in place. The brackets and guides are fixed to the building facade, which means that the facade louvres will project beyond the window line. Mounting on the wall does not obstruct the recessed window, so the amount of natural light entering the interior depends on the angle of the louvre slats and their positioning. The ability to fully open external facade blinds allows maximum light into the room.
Facade louvres for lintel installation
This is a type of sunshade installed on the outside of the building, specifically above the window, in place of the lintel. Installation of self-supporting louvres on the lintel involves attaching brackets to a horizontal element above the window, which carries the load from the superstructure of the building. The brackets are not attached directly to the window, but to the lintel to ensure stability and even weight distribution. It is important to ensure that the lintel is in good working order and that the brackets are securely fixed and horizontal before installation.
Recess-mounted facade blinds
Facade blinds mounted in a window recess are installed on the side walls of the recess, inside the window frame or directly on its surface. This method of installation allows the window to be fully covered from the outside, while providing better aesthetics and protection from the weather. The blinds are usually attached to special brackets or guides that are installed in the walls of the recess, allowing for precise positioning and smooth operation.
External facade blinds installed in an alcove can obscure part of the window, leading to a reduction in the amount of natural light entering the room, especially when the blinds are lowered.
